The Forestry Service of Chalkida, based on the provisions of the recent Ministerial Decision on hiking trails, issued an open call for tenders for the first study of hiking trails by a forest authority. The contract was awarded to I. Stefanidis, who together in collaboration with the scientific staff of AnaDigit, have undertaken the task of designing 15 hiking routes around Mt Dirfys. The network will have a total lenght of about 65 km.
