The Municipality of Zakynthos, in an attempt to aid the hikers and nature-lovers that seek an alternative way of exploring the island, contracted AnaDigit to map the current situation and to develop potential hiking routes.
The study team of AnaDigit research the old roads and abandoned paths, combined them with pleasant dirt roads and synthesized a hiking network composed of 27 routes with a total of 117 km.
At a second stage, in the framework for submitting a technical study for funding, the Municipality bestowed the companies AnaDigit and Yli the composition of a study of technical interventions and the relevant budget. The study was conducted as a support tool for the Municipality's Technical Departments.
