Walks in Bochali

In the area of Bochali, five cultural walks, have been waymarked around the Venetian Castle. The walks follow mainly quiet streets with little vehicle disturbance (with the exception of Trail 5, following the main road). Starting from the castle, they lead to the city center, the British Cemetery, the Strani Hill and Aghios Georgios Filikon.

Trail 1 From Agios Georgios to the castle starts from the church of Agios Georgios Filikon and ends at the gate of the venetian castle of Zakynthos.
Trail 2 A walk in the castle of Zakynthos is a short walk around the walls of the venetian castle of Zakynthos.

Trail 3 From the castle to the town starts from the venetian castle and leads to the main square of the city of Zakynthos.

Trail 4 Castle of Zakynthos-Strani hill is a nice connection between the the venetian castle of Zakynthos and the Strani hill.

Trail 5 Strani hill-Agios Georgios connects Strani hill to the church of Agios Georgios Filikon.

Trail 5a Agios Georgios-British Cemetery connects the church of Agios Georgios Filikon to the impressive British Cemetery.
